
I’ve always thought that Chef Vanessa Marx of Dear Me is a very clever girl. And I adore the new offering of take-home deliciousness.
There’s a glass counter, and in it you’ll find the likes of tarts, cakes and chocolate treats. My favorites are the gluten-free almond torte, baked cheesecake, fruit tartlets and Valrhona chocolate and oat cookies.

Best of all is the antique bread cabinet stocked with freshly baked breads – seed & raisin loaf, ciabatta, 100% pure rye bread (wheat-free), and gluten-free soya & honey loaf. All handmade and additive-free.

There, you’ll also find the jams, chutneys, nut butters, relishes, oils, vinegars and pickles…


Also on offer are jars of buttermilk rusks, roasted spiced nuts and a selection of homemade muesli’s. And THE MACAROONS…

Available at the counter are fresh juices, smoothies and sandwiches to take away, as well as Espressolab coffees. It’s a riot!
